The Bride Wore Crimson by Adrianne Lee

This story is the second in the Weddingville series. Weddingville is a picturesque little town using wedding tourism to bring the town back to life. I highly recommend reading book one before you start this one, or Weddingville and Daryl Anne's place there will likely take a minute to understand.

Daryl Anne is finally settling into her new life working the family business and spending time with Seth. Everything finally seems calm, and even her recently single friend, Meg, is getting back into the swing of things. All is well until a rash of wedding related thefts lead to murder, and Daryl Anne suspects someone close to her family might be involved. She decides the best way to protect her family is to investigate on her own, though Meg and Seth, of course, get in on the action too. I was thrilled to see Daryl Anne and Seth's relationship progress. He is so good for her. I also enjoy Daryl Anne's little inner monologues. For me, this was like a cozy with just enough spice to make things interesting.

I received an advance copy for review from the publisher through Net Galley.
