Deep Into Trouble by Dawn Ryder

This was absolutely the best of the series so far! I liked the first two books, but this one had me completely glued to the pages. Ginger was one of my favorite leading ladies in a long time. She was spunky, strong, caring, selfless, and full of light and life. She was everything Saxon needed and the exact opposite of anything he ever thought he wanted. In other words, she was perfect. She steps out of her ordered somewhat supressed life just for a brief moment and that one act has her whole world shifting on its axis. Suddenly she is on the run and Saxon is her lifeline. She knows nothing about him except that he is her only chance for survival.

Saxon feels the chemistry and the pull of attraction between himself and Ginger, but he knows he is nowhere near relationship material. He wants to get her safe and get away as soon as possible. He runs into a snag when they discover an information leak that puts the responsibility for Ginger right back on him and his team. Ginger pulls her own weight and refuses to do any less than face her situation head on. She earns Saxon's respect and much more.

This story does a bit more unraveling of threads from the previous books and also leaves a few trailing out there for the next books. While this could be read as a standalone, I don't recommend it. There is a decent amount of building on the foundation of the other books, plus the first two books really were good and give you time to really get to know Saxon before you read his story.

I was happy to receive an ARC from Net Galley for honest review.
